  • Inauguration of the Chemistry Association was organized virtually in WebEx platform on 24th of September 2020. 
  • The event started around 4 pm and Joel David of 5th semester BCZ was the MC. 
  • The promo/activity video was played which summarize all the departmental activities which happened in the academic year 2019-20. 
  • Then the event was enlightened by an Invocation song by John Joseph of 2nd year MSc chemistry. 
  • Followed by which there was welcome speech by faculty co-ordinator Dr. Yamuna Nair. 
  • Dr. Vinod T. P, faculty co-ordinator introduced the office bearers and all the members of the association for the current academic year. He also welcomed the chief guest of the inauguration Prof. Subi Jacob George, New Chemisry Unit, JNCASR, Bengaluru. 
  • The key note speaker Prof Subi Jacob George delivered a talk on the topic “THE DYNAMIC WORLD BEYOND THE MOLECULE.” 
  • At the end of the formal event there was vote of thanks by Sumukh S.S, President of the Association. 
  • This was followed by cultural programs from each combination and the inauguration was concluded by playing College Anthem.
